Refund Policy


If you place an order and claim it was not delivered to the recipient, please allow us 24-48 hours for a complete investigation into the matter. In many cases, it is a simple matter that delivery was attempted and no one was available at the home or office to accept delivery and no neighbors or other parties were able to take delivery on the recipient’s behalf. If this is the case, Americana Flowers reserves the right to attempt redelivery of your order. On the rare occasion that we discover no delivery attempt was made, we will provide you with a full refund. If we are unable to substantiate your claim, we reserve the right to reject that claim.

Rejected Delivery

If you place an order and the recipient rejects delivery, whatever the reason, Americana Flowers will not provide a refund and cannot be held liable for the recipient’s decision..


If a delivery is made, and there is any question as to the quality of the flowers, plants, gift basket, or fruit basket, the recipient should contact Americana Flowers to discuss the matter. In most cases, we will gladly replace the arrangement. However, claims must be made within 48 hours of delivery. No refunds or replacements will be made after this period. Nor will refunds or replacements be made based on improper plant or flower care on the part of the recipient.


While we process your request the moment we receive it during business hours, it is sometimes very difficult to get cancellation requests complete. Our network ranges throughout the country and because of the importance placed on a timely delivery of your request and various time zones, it can sometimes be very difficult to stop or cancel a delivery attempt or a placed order. Cancellations must be done prior to delivery, and in all cases within 24 hours or placing your order. Any cancellation requests after this period cannot be guaranteed and subject to a 20% charge..


Due to various seasonal and regional conditions, and the variety of unplanned issues courtesy of Mother Nature, availability of some flowers may be very limited in certain areas. Also, specific flower varieties or colors may not be available for delivery on a specified day. Therefore, it is possible that the exact bouquet pictured or requested may not be available for delivery.

In this event, the local florist will deliver a second choice of similar flowers and container of equal value and beauty. Every effort will be made to maintain size, shape, and overall color schemes of an arrangement, but there may be some variance due to designer interpretation. In single variety arrangements, variety will take preference over color. Our goal is your complete satisfaction, rest assured that every effort will be made to provide an arrangement of equal or greater value.

We can only cancel your order prior to shipment.All cancellations must be made prior to shipping. We cannot cancel orders that are already on their way. If you selected a same day delivery for a future date please call us at 1.888.731.2400.

Specialty Gifts

Specialty gifts that are not perishable may be returned for a refund within 30 days of the delivery date, however, the items must be unopened with the original packaging materials and papers.
We will not refund your shipping fees unless the return was caused by our error. We will only refund that part of your order without refunding the shipping fees you originally paid. Please call us at 1.888.731.2400.
You will be notified by email of your refund once the refund has been fully processed, this includes the return of the item and our internal processing which usually takes between 7-14 days.

Delivery by an Americana-Flowers Florist

We can deliver flowers, plants, and gifts to the entire United States, Canada, and to over 150 Countries throughout the World, however, we cannot guarantee delivery at a specific time or any hour during the delivery date.
In most regions of the United States and Canada, orders place by 2pm in the recipient's time zone can be delivered that day although this time may decrease during busy holiday seasons. For Saturday and Sunday delivery most orders must be placed by 1pm, although sometimes exceptions can be made, at the recipient's time zone.
FUNERALS - Your sympathy or funeral flowers order to be delivered at a specific time of day must be placed as follows:
  • * Monday AM Delivery - Order by Saturday at 12 p.m. in the recipient's time zone.
  • * AM Delivery Tuesday to Saturday - Order by 3 p.m. in the recipient's time zone on the day before.
  • * PM Delivery Monday to Saturday - Orders must be placed with a 4 hr. lead-time.
  • * Sunday Delivery is not available in all areas - In the areas it is, orders must be placed before 1p.m. in the recipient's time zone to be delivered that day. The availability of Sunday delivery will be determined during order checkout. WE MAY CALL YOU AFTER YOUR ORDER HAS BEEN PLACED.

Exotic Flowers and Plants Delivery

Next-Day delivery is required for all exotic flowers and plants. Deliveries cannot be made on Sundays.

International Deliveries

Flowers and plant orders placed by 2p.m. Eastern Time can be delivered the very next business day. Floral arrangements are subject to seasonal availability. Prices may be subject to change for certain venues. WE MAY CALL YOU AFTER YOUR ORDER HAS BEEN PLACED. Delivery is available by FedEx® or UPS® in most areas. We will deliver Fed Ex and UPS outside of the United States. Next-Day, 2-Day, Standard Delivery (within 3 business days), or Saturday Delivery is available for most flowers, plants, and gifts. Shipping fees for these items vary based on the merchandise amount. Items sent with Standard Delivery or 2-Day delivery will arrive on or before the delivery date.
Most perishable items such as fine chocolates require Next-Day delivery.
Always include apartment, unit, or room number in the delivery address if possible. Deliveries to Colleges, Universities, and other institutions may take longer than expected. A $12.99 surcharge is applied for Alaska and Hawaii. Any changes to the delivery address AFTER checkout are subject to a $10.00 charge.
Sometimes, substitutions of your flowers or plants may be necessary due to market changes, seasoning restrictions, etc.. to ensure they arrive on time. We make an exaggerated effort and go above and beyond our means to make sure that the flowers or plants you have ordered are as similar as possible to those we deliver.


* In mixed flower arrangements the colors shown online will be adhered to no matter what, that is, even if we have to use similar or higher priced flowers.
* For unique flower arrangements such as roses or lilies we will do our best to match the type of flower shown online but we may use a different color.
* If the flower vase or container shown online is not available we will use a different one with equal or greater value.


* For all green and flowering plants similar plants may be substituted of equal or greater value.
* For unique plants such as orchids we will diligently pursue to match the type and may substitute the color.
* If the plant vase or container shown online is not available we will use a different one with equal or greater value.
